Enter the premium zone of insulation resistance measurements
Sonel MIC-5010 insulation resistance meters are a reliable tool for measuring insulation resistance up to 15 TΩ. The maximum measuring current is 1.2 mA or 3 mA, which guarantees the charging of a high-capacity object in a short time. Each measurement, both in the case of expiry of the programmed time and manual interruption, ends with the discharge of the object by the meter. This device has unique algorithms that allow to recognize the nature of the voltage present on the object, thanks to which the device is able to determine whether the voltage is mains voltage - then the measurement will not be performed or it is a voltage generated by the electromagnetic field - then the measurement will be performed. This enables measurements to be carried out in presence very strong electromagnetic fields where it was previously impossible.
The device is equipped with accessories that guarantee safety during measurements with all available voltages - both test leads, probes and crocodiles meet extremely stringent standards (guaranteed voltage resistance up to 11 kV for test leads and 5.5 kV for crocodiles and test probes). As standard, the accessories are delivered with a handy case. Due to the high resistance of the device to interference, cables with a length of up to 20 m can be used for measurements.
